Ojala Family Pet Care was founded by siblings Dr. Austin Ojala and Alexa Ojala, born from a shared passion for animals and a vision to create a veterinary hospital in Oakley that treats every pet like family. Together with the support of their loved ones, they’ve created a practice that combines old-fashioned warmth with modern veterinary medicine—offering a personalized experience grounded in trust, integrity, and community connection.
Dr. Austin brings years of veterinary training and experience, along with a deep respect for animals of all kinds—from dogs and cats to reptiles, birds, and farm animals. Alexa, a business graduate from Cal State East Bay with a creative background in cosmetology and grooming, brings her sharp organizational skills and warm personality to the front of the practice.
