Raised in Brentwood, Dr. Austin Ojala has always had a deep connection with animals of all kinds. After earning his degree in Animal Science from UC Davis and his Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Midwestern University, Dr. Austin returned home to serve his local community.

With special interests in exotic pets, reptiles, and farm animals, he brings a wide breadth of expertise to the clinic, paired with a gentle, caring touch. Outside work, he enjoys gardening, caring for his diverse menagerie of pets, and spending time with his family.

With a Bachelor of Science in Business from California State University East Bay, Alexa Ojala blends professional business acumen with a deep passion for animals.

After co-founding a successful dog grooming business and building a career in customer service, she now brings her warmth, organization, and creativity to Ojala Family Pet Care, ensuring every pet parent feels welcome and supported from their very first visit.

Veterinary Assistant

Jennifer’s journey in veterinary medicine began in 2018, driven by her passion for being a voice for animals. She’s committed to ensuring every pet feels healthy, safe, and loved during their time with us. When she’s not at the clinic, you’ll find her out on walks with her two beloved French bulldogs, enjoying pup cups along the way.

Veterinary Assistant

A proud graduate of Carrington College’s Veterinary Technology program, Katie has been providing compassionate care to pets for over seven years. She is dedicated to making every visit as stress-free and comfortable as possible, always striving for the best outcomes for both pets and their families. In her free time, she loves hiking, paddleboarding, and exploring the outdoors with her family.

Veterinary Technician

She’s currently in vet school but will be coming in to help during her school breaks.

Dung brings nearly a decade of hands-on animal care experience to our team. A graduate of Cal State East Bay and a future veterinary student at the University of Glasgow, Dung is passionate about treating all living beings — whether they walk, fly, slither, or hop — with kindness, respect, and expert care.

Clinic Mama & Support Specialist

As the proud mother of the clinic’s founders, Tuli brings heart, warmth, and a helping hand wherever needed. Her lifelong passion for animals and welcoming spirit help make every visitor, whether two-legged or four, feel like part of the family.

Chief Cheerleader & Community Liaison

A retired law enforcement officer and former high school football coach, Clint brings leadership, care, and a strong sense of community to the clinic. Always ready with a friendly smile, he helps make Ojala Family Pet Care a truly welcoming place.

Family Support Crew

Married to Dr. Austin, Faby supports the clinic’s family-first mission with heart and grace. A former educator with a background in special education and applied behavioural analysis, she now focuses on raising their daughter, Ophelia, and lending her talents wherever the clinic needs a hand.
